Stomp RecordNow Max Platinum can handle various recording needs. But the line-in recording tool, Click 'N Edit Sound LE, is a bad choice for anyone who simply wants to transfer old tapes and LPs to CDs. Also, there are no wizards for recording or cleaning sound. Making line-in recordings is easy, but knowing which effects to run to clean the audio is not. And you can't break a long recording into separate tracks or export to WMA or MP3 format.
